Cape Breton Bed and Breakfast
The home has four original fireplaces, which guests can enjoy while having dinner or relaxing in one of our elegant guest rooms. All guest rooms have been renovated, while original tiles and fixtures have been restored. The third floor features a very unique, large bedroom, originally a school room, complete with original port hole windows.

The top floor of Annfield is an enclosed widow's walk and boasts a spectacular view. Mr. Burchell was known to sit here and watch his coal boats moving up and down the Bras d'Or Lakes. The inn, now completely furnished with fine antiques, sits on 4.5 acres, and is open year round for accommodations, dining and special events.

Full breakfast is included in the rate for each night of your stay. Enjoy your breakfast with the sun shining into 'The Dorothy' dining room with panoramic views of our gardens. Our guests can choose from our daily menu with the gourmet special of the day, a healthy choice with a fruit smoothie drink, or an old fashioned country style breakfast.
